Olympic badminton champion Li Xuerui, with her obvious technical features, sharp game performance, become an independent school in today’s women’s singles player. She has the significance of the research on the characteristics and rules of the technique and tactics application in competition.This paper takes the tactical features of Li Xuerui as the main study object, to analyze the technical features differences of Li Xuerui and the rivals, the different technical features and the competition characteristic differences of winning and losing of Li Xueri. It uses the method of mathematical statistics to find out the technical and tactical characteristics of Li Xuerui’s own and other players to more carefully understand Li Xuerui in the competition performance. It provides theoretical support and reference for her further improvement, and other athletes’ learning. Through the research.Through the research, draw the following conclusion:1.Round-trip duration per stroke showed the main difference in contest mode upon winning and losing.2.Techniques used after the third stroke(incl) and position of stroke showed the main difference in technical mode upon winning and losing.3.No reciprocals showed in the effect of different types of stroke upon winning and losing.4.The main difference between Li Xuerui’s and opponents’ effective strokes upon winning and losing showed in the effect of smashes and lift shots.5.The 5th, 12 th and 9th were key strokes to Li Xuerui’s game result.Her winning rate=.533×effect-of-12th-stoke+.577×effect-of-5th-stoke+.362×effect-of-9th-st oke.The key techniques to Li Xuerui’s game result included the effect of lift shot, clear high shot, intercept and net shot.
