Since China put forth The Basic Education Curriculum Reform Outline, the reform has been comprehensively promoted. Nowadays, the teachers’teaching methods and the students’learning methods have been greatly changed. More researches have been carried out about how to further improve the efficiency of classroom teaching. Among them "the heterogeneous classes" is often used in teaching and research activities through out the country. It can help the teachers to research in their teaching, and teach in the research, which has achieved certain results. However, most of us have been ignoring the problem of how to make further use of the form of the heterogeneous classes to improve our teaching design, and this is a very important problem worth exploring and practicing.In this essay, basing on the two course of heterogeneous resources in the high school physics "overweight and weightlessness", and by comparing and analyzing the case, we try to improve the teaching design and make the most of the heterogeneous resources to better the design methods and thoughts. This essay consists of five parts:The first part is introduction. In the background of the new curriculum reform and the present situation of physics teaching, we put forward the significance and ways of making good use of heterogeneous resourcesThe second part analyzes the related theory. We put forward the definitions of heterogeneous class in senior physics teaching, the heterogeneous resources, and improving teaching design. We analyze the relevant theory about the present teaching design to look for some better schemes and ways to improve the teaching design, and also explore the possibility of improving teaching design by using the heterogeneous resources.In the third part, through the analysis of interviews with the teacher in our district, we try to figure out the problems in the teaching design and find out their corresponding causes. On this basis, we discuss the principles, strategies and methods of improving the teaching design with the help of heterogeneous resources.The fourth part compares and analyzes the existing teaching material "overweight and weightlessness". We choose the typical case of heterogeneous resources and carry out the practical research of improving the teaching design, in which better ways of teaching design are expected to be worked out.The fifth part, after analyzing the survey and the case, tries to causes further thinking about how to use the heterogeneous resources to improve the design in physics teaching. We also hope to find the strategies and problems in carrying out the teaching designs.This research insists on combining theory with practice, and is based on the practice of high school physics teaching. We attempt to seek the effective ways of design with the heterogeneous class in physics teaching. And it is expected that it will provide reference for the physics teachers and teachers of other subjects.
