The purpose of education is not just for students to master the scientific and cultural knowledge, more important is to develop students’ thinking ability and creativity, so that they have the capacity for lifelong learning. Give a man a fish than giving the fishing, to better grasp the "fishing" and more than a few "fish" more practical value. Mind mapping is a useful way to learn is the key to open the potential of the human brain, can be used in learning and life. In recent years, mind map in teaching the practical value increasingly apparent, reflecting the new curriculum ideas.In this paper, the use of mind maps were reviewed for the third year of organic chemistry research. In practice, during the study, the first to teach students what the mind map and how to draw, then the following three main research areas for the third year review of the characteristics of organic chemistry:organic matter composition and the research methods, according to the synthetic routes and other information to infer organics Organic Chemistry comprehensive testing. Through data analysis, questionnaires, interviews and other students to analyze the value of the Mind Map in the third year of organic chemistry review, concluded as follows:The use of mind maps were third year of organic chemistry review, student achievement improved; Mind Figure introduced students ability to innovate, thinking ability and interest in learning has improved to some extent; through the implementation of a mind map of the semester, the students’ self-learning ability has been improved.
