Study On The Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of The Attacking Mistakes In The Women 's Basketball Team In Qinghai Normal University During The 16th CUBA Competition

Modern basketball was invented in 1891 by James Naismith, born in Canada, a PE teacher of Young men’s Christian Association cadre training school in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. Modern basketball is characterized by high intelligence, tall stature, high physical ability, high speed, high strength, high technology and high score, therefore offensive turnovers are somewhat inevitable in the fierce competition.Offensive turnover is an indicator of players’ offensive capacity and the number of turnovers is also an indicator of players’ competition ability. Offensive turnovers represent transformation from attack to defend in basketball, meaning losing a chance to attack and thus probably widening the score gap. In certain situation just one crucial turnover may even determine the failure of a competition.By far there is no research about the offensive turnovers of Qinghai Normal University Women’s Basketball Team, therefore, this paper hope to research on the offensive turnovers of the Qinghai Normal University Women Basketball Team in the 16 th CUBA. With the method of on-the-spot statistics and video observation, this paper analyzes the turnovers under different states, turnovers of different players and turnovers under different score gaps so as to find out the influencing factors, summarize the causes and propose some effective countermeasures.Offensive turnovers have negative impacts in the basketball competition. To win the modern basketball competition with higher possibility, it is important to research on how to reduce the number of offensive turnovers and increase the success rate of attacks. The number of turnovers is not only an indicator of individual player’s technical level, but also an indicator of a team’s comprehensive competitive ability. Offensive turnovers reflect some problems existing in the individual players or the team, therefore, researching on the offensive turnovers, finding out the main reasons, main forms and measures to avoid it will has a significant meaning on improving the competitive ability of individual players or a team.This paper researches on the offensive turnovers of the Qinghai Normal University Women Basketball Team in the 16 th CUBA through the method of literature material, mathematical statistics, video observation and logical analysis in order to find the principal features and causes of the offensive turnovers, as a result, providing reference for Qinghai Normal University Women Basketball Team to reduce offensive turnovers and improve level of tactics in the future.Conclusions are listed as followings:1. The main factors that led to the offensive turnovers of Qinghai Normal University Women Basketball Team in the 16 th CUBA are the technical factor, psychological factor and sports intelligence factor;2.Passing, catching and dribbling techniques are the weakness of the Qinghai Normal University Women’s Basketball Team;3.the countermeasures for such problems are:(1) to increase the team’s overall tactical coordination training;(2) to increase the basketball specific basic skill training;(3) to increase players’ psychological quality, sports intelligence training;(4) to increase players’ physical ability training.
