Modern teaching theory points out that teaching is a process of teacher-student active interaction with development. Effective classroom interaction not only active classroom atmosphere、improve teaching efficiency、promote the development of students’thinking and ability but also promote teachers’ professional development. "Let students experience the process of learning geography and learning geographical thinking","put the class back to students that the students would explore like scientists ",these new concepts of the new curriculum requires teachers to renew conceptions of education, changing the traditional teaching methods and eventually into student learning and development, classroom interaction is a very important aspect of them. How about the high school geography class interactive effects? How to evaluate the effectiveness of classroom interaction? How to carry out the geography classroom interaction? This is the subject requires in-depth study.This paper does the following jobs based on the on-the-spot questionnaire survey:1. Takes the students in grade one and grade two and the whole geography teacher in a middle school in Baotou as the respondents, Through the questionnaire to find out the current status quo of high school geography classroom interaction. Students’ questionnaire content main including the situation of students preview before class, the atmosphere of geographic class, the teaching way and the interactive way that students prefer, the wishes that students take part in the interactive, the effects on teachers outside explicit behavior on students, and the situation in question-and-answer interaction, and the situation in discussion interactive, and interactive in the student of participation degrees and students’ satisfaction on interactive, etc. Teachers’ questionnaire content main including interaction teaching design, the most frequently used method in classroom interaction, the attensity of teacher’s nonverbal behavior, the situation in question-and-answer interaction, the case of teacher selecting interaction objects, teacher’s evaluation and summary at the end of interaction, the effects in classroom interaction, and the biggest problem in the current classroom interaction.2. Process and analyze of questionnaire data, found that the current problems in the geography classroom interaction:from the overall analysis, first,students preview habits quite lacking; Second, student’ awareness on interaction is not strong, and willing engagement of students is very small; Third, in limited interaction time, teachers can’t both interact with each student in equity; fourthly, the teachers’ professional ability is limited, design effective interactive teaching more difficult, none of the education sector targeted training; The last, the teacher’s incentive is not enough, resulting in a lack of confidence to interactive.3. In order to determine the specific effectiveness of geography classroom interaction in this school, through improved the existing scale of evaluating the classroom teacher-student interaction, established the evaluation index system about the geography class interactive effectiveness, prepared the "High school geography class interactive effectiveness evaluation table", and using levels analysis method on each indicators to be weight, makes interactive effectiveness can through evaluation of eventually scored to reflected.4. Use the "High school geography class interactive effectiveness evaluation table" to evaluate a geography public class in this school, get the interactive effectiveness about the class is at a general level, to reflect the geography classroom interaction of the school is at a general level.5. Through the problems reflected in the questionnaires and the evaluation results of the class instances, get the strategies for improving the efficiency of geography classroom interaction:teacher perspectives:strengthening the actual effect of teachers’ knowledge and skills training; optimization design of interactive teaching and curriculum resources. Student perspective:improving the students’subject consciousness; Focus on self-efficacy on students’role in promoting.Finally summarize the main results of this paper and the existing deficiencies.
