A Study On The Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students' Ecological Civilization

Since the industrial revolution, economic development has made great achievements, but also brings growing ecological crisis.So humans began to rethink the relationship between man and nature, some experts criticize the idea which formed in industrial civilization times, they gradually realize, we must re-examine the relationship between people and nature, which gave birth to the ecological civilization. Ecological civilization idea is accompanied by the emergence of ecological civilization, it is views and positions when people in dealing with people and nature, ecological civilization is inner motivation of practicing ecological behavior. Strengthening the cultivation of college students ’ view of ecological civilization, it can improve the content of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities, promote ideological and political education work for college students, but also help improve the ecological civilization construction of education system. The other hand, college students were eco-builders of civilizations, they are shouldering the responsibility of Socialist construction, thus strengthening the cultivation of college students ’ concept of ecological civilization, so that they have the abilities and qualities of Socialist construction, is of important practical significance.This paper defines the concept of ecological civilization idea, discusses the cultivation of ecological civilization theory, points out the significance of ecological civilization. Did a survey of college students of Nanjing University, summarizes the current problems of cultivating college students ’ ecological civilization idea.It includes the main consciousness is not strong, lack of content, poor implementation, the system is not perfect.Then analyzed the reasons for these problems in three aspects such as community, universities and students. Based on construction of ecological civilization in China at the present stage of actual situation and future development needs of the community, put forward the cultivation of ecological civilization concept objectives, principles, contents and methods. For these problems proposed,society have to create good social climate, and perfect related system construction. University must develop education planning, and reform education content, and perfect evaluation system,it should provide education support.Teachers should lead to cultivating ecological civilization idea.Students should do some social practice, become to builders of ecological civilization. Through the force of the society, universities, teachers, college students, to promote the cultivation of college students ’ view of ecological civilization, enabling students to develop good habits of ecological ethics and ecological civilization.The innovation of this paper is put the research on cultivating ecological civilization ideas,which is missing in currently higher education.Do a research on Nanjing four university students, make up the research vacancies, and analyze problem and the reasons of currently ecological civilization education.The target of cultivating ecological civilization views is through education help students to set ecological civilization values, and ethics views, social development views and green consumption views, training ecological emotional, through a number of behavioral training, help college students to develop good habits of ecological ethics and ecological civilization. View of ecologic civilization cultivation to follow the initiatives, such as the overall system, the principles of sustainable development, participatory practice. Cultivation of ecological civilization concept includes establishing the concept of ecological civilization and master knowledge of ecological civilization, develop feelings of ecological civilization, involved in the construction of ecological civilization. At last proposed strengthening the cultivation of college students ’ ecological civilization, it can provide a reference for the research of university education of ecological civilization.
