China Basketball Association(CBA) was founded in 1995. It went through a history of 20 years after the 2014-2015-season. We can see clearly the CBA’s influence has been a qualitative leap, reaching an unprecedented height, through the20 years. The vigorous development of the CBA owed to a large number of outstanding foreign aid. There had been totally more than 500 foreign aids participating in the CBA since the first foreign aid participated in 1995. Their arrival had injected fresh blood for the league, putting CBA toward internationalization step by step, and became the first league in Asia. But the introduction of a large number of foreign aid had a negative impact on the league. Three in five players on the field are foreign aids, domestic players becoming a supporting role. Foreign aid score accounting for half of the team often appeared in the team. The key moment for foreign aids to hit the situation is everywhere. Those had a negative impact on the growth of domestic players. Therefore, on the introduction of foreign aid in the 20 years of the league has a significant impact for the coming of the 20 anniversary of the CBA.This paper will analyze the introduction of foreign aid in the 20 years of the league through the means of literature and data, video observation statistics,mathematical statistics, logic analysis and expert interview, finding a solution for some negative effects, and giving constructive opinions on the development of the league in the future.The results showed that:1. most of foreign aids in the 20 years are from the United States. Because their better physical quality, they occupy a significant advantage to the domestic players in the game.2. With the development of the league, the introduction of foreign aid has improved the quality of the game. So the game’s excellent level has been improved and the league’s influence gradually expanded.3.The personal date of foreign aid in the 20 years increased sharply, reflected in the scoring and rebounding.4.Since the foreign aid policy began, it had seriously shorten the playing time of the domestic players, restricted domestic players, which are not conducive to thecultivation of the basketball talents in China.5. a large number of excellent foreign aids’ coming improved the competitive level of the league, leading the score of the whole class decline continuously.
