The socialist core value are the most basic, core values in the socialist value system, which give the citizen three main aspects to improve their moral quality and other parts of their lives. It is the value-oriented scientific development. Students in the university are specific groups with better education background, charged with the task of nation-building and social development. Meanwhile, the current impact of globalization has become worse and worse, especially the various effects on college students. Therefore, the correct guidance of their identity and practice the socialist core values, has become the main task of the current ideology and politic education work face. It is also better for college students to inherit and develop the Chinese traditional culture and eventually to obtain the cultural self-confidence.Campus life is the last stage for most of the students before they step into the society, but also is the gold time for their personal socialization. Therefore, to let them study and identity the core values place an important role, which is good for them to correctly handle the relationship between other people and the relations with society and the country. Studies have shown that the whole identification process goes through "internalization absorb" to "externalization reflect". Both of them are the main formation mechanism of regulating through the whole identification process. It needs to go through three main stages- Identity "identification" phase, identity "link" phase, as well as identity "operation" phase. At the same time, the study have found that the identification process follows two basic rules: First one is that the identity subject follow the "Cognition, Emotion, Will" in the process, which are corresponding to the three main stages of identification; the second one is the various factors during this process follow "same but different ", which means the influence of that factors simultaneously at all stages of the entire process of identification but produce different effects on results. On this basis, the paper further studied and clarified each stage of their characteristics and their interconnections, and explain the process by analyzing the various stages of approval and its influencing factors, in order to find out the whole urge breakthrough process to work: first, to change the “passive "recognition" into active "identification", which is the most basic and most crucial step. Secondly, to change the invalid "link" into valid "link", which is the sign of the college students to properly handle three relationships. Finally, to change blind "operation" into conscious "operation", which is the only way for college students to use theory to guide practice.In the end, the study gives three ways to solve the above-mentioned issues: interaction between the teachers and students, cultural security protection, social practice optimization. These three ways can help the whole identification process proceed smoothly and successfully.
