This essay focuses on how to improve maths teaching efficiency in senior middle schoolby applying OX 32 . Low teaching efficiency is a serious problem existing in present mathsteaching in which both the teachers and the students are over-burdened. Based on the contentof maths and thinking pattern of middle school students, this experiment aims ,on the onehand, to establish special maths teaching strategies ,on the other hand to explore an effectivemethod to lighten the burden of the teachers and the students, so as to improve the teachingefficiency and to testify the possibilities and necessity of carrying out GX.The result of this experiment indicates that GX principle has been helpful in improvingthe students' maths study and lightening their study burden. It has brought positive transfer tothe students' study of other subjects in which the students show great interest and master goodlearning methods.
