The modern educational concept advocates the study way of managing, cooperatingand exploring. The new course reform attaches importance to the ability of exploringscience,observing and thinking, analysing problems, settling problems and innovatingscientifically. However, The exploring experimental teaching method is the best way torealize the above abilities. The exploring experimental teaching method is an activity aboutexploring by using experiments. Under the guidance of teachers, students learn physicsknowledge and skills,experience the enjoyment of exploring scientifically, learn thescientific methods of scientists and master the thought and spirits of science by goingthrough the typical process of drawing the conclusion from scientists. The author exploresand reflects the exploring teaching in the experiment teaching of senior high school physicsby studying the exploring teaching theories and teaching experience of combining facts athome and abroad.Firstly, the article talks about the situation of the exploring experimental teaching athome and abroad and the tendency of its development. It also analyses the theories of theexploring experimental teaching concerned, which includes the base of theories, thecharacteristics of teaching, the rules of teaching, the significance of teaching and theelements of the exploring experimental teaching. It describes the use of the exploringexperimental teaching in the experiment teaching of physics in senior high school in detailfrom the aspects, which are lecturing experiments, group experimenting of students andsubject studying. Besides, the author designs the key case of the exploring experimentalteaching by combining his teaching practice. Then the author carries out the survey aboutthe situation of the exploring experimental teaching and analyses the results throughquestionnaire surveys and the analysis of cases. Lastly, the author brings up the strategies toimprove the problems.Because of the limitation of the teaching system and the concept of teaching, there arestill many problems about carrying out the exploring experimental teaching in senior high schools, including improving the knowledge of the exploring experimental teaching ofteachers and students. Therefore, the author brings up his own strategies. Firstly, strengthenthe constructions of laboratories and the degree of opening and the degree of training labassistants. Secondly, teachers try to transfer the concept of education and teaching, increasethe professional quality, skills and improve the methods of teaching and cultivateexploration spirits. Lastly, students should study actively take part in the exploringexperimental study, try to enhance the study ability, exploration ability and innovationability.
