Based on literature summary and interview with teachers and students, a Life Events Questionnaire (LEQ) was constructed and a series of PTSD scales with high reliability and validity has been used to explore the characteristics of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) students of middle schools, and we studied the relationships of PTSD with individual, family and society. The results indicated: 1) The population of students with PTSD is more than estimate. Even by the strict criterion, the rate is up to 7.8%. Teenagers developed PTSD exhibit very depressed or anxious, having problems falling asleep, losing confidence。Most of them suffered from PTSD beyond six months. 2) No significant gender ,age, grade and health differences of students' PTSD were demonstrated, 3)There was significant difference between schools and singleton. Students who are singleton or studied in a ordinary senior school were more likely to suffer from PTSD; 4) Family, society and learning factors were the most important impacts. Thereinto, overprotection from parents and mother's care affect adolencents a lot; 5) The physical traumatic event experienced by the individual directly, by observation (witness of death of another person), peer relationship, and environment stress were top risk factors for PTSD. 6) The more you know about PTSD, the more psychological help you could offer for adolencents.
