With the increasing penetrating through educational field of internet, Web-based Inquiry Learning is becoming a new pattern attentive learning model by people and applied in some primary and middle schools. Web-based Inquiry Learning is a kind of integration between network and Inquiry Learning. It's a learning process, exerting the predominance of network, probing into problem by the scientific method with the teachers' guidance and support. In this process a circumstances like academe, should be well designed. This learning model advocate learners should collaborate with others on the basis of self-learning, to accomplish task and foster cooperative character. Thereby "collaboration" is the main form for this learning model, and "learning to collaboration" is the important learning purpose.Learning activity's favoring development depends on well designed Learning environment. According to "The Designing Model of Learning Environment" put by Doctor FatiWu, by the analysis of the characteristic of Web-based Inquiry Learning, this thesis discusses the design of learning environment from two aspects.One aspect is collaborative strategy's design, or named immateriality environment's design. It includes the devising of several factors, such as inquiring task, collaborative colony, collaborative group forming, collaborative utility, estimation on collaboration and so on. Under the direction of these collaborative strategies, this thesis discusses the design of collaboration-supporting system , or named materiality environment's design. Based on an investigation , this part puts forward an particular designing scheme and the method of implementation.
