Data Mining Technology In The Online Course Evaluation

With the development of it-based education.lots of data have been accumulated. How to discover the rules and knowledge hiding in these data so as to provide the assistant decision support has become an urgent problem to be solved. The appearance and development of the Data Mining technology has provided powerful support to this need.Data Mining is the period of picking up unknown, but valuable information and knowledge from large amount of incomplete data. Based on the evaluation process of web-based course evaluation, the application of data mining technology in the web-based course evaluation was stated in this paper, that is, constructing a model for web-based course evaluation system basing on DM, finding association rules basing on Rough Sets, the technology of dynamically adjusting the weight and implementing the evaluation basing on fuzzy theory along with DM.Furthermore.the author developed a web-based course evaluation system basing on fuzzy theory and an association rules mining system.It's a helpful experiment of Data Mining in web-based course evaluation.
