In Junior High School Girls By The Bully Characteristics And Related Factors

Recently, more and more importance is attached to the bullying of adolescents. It can be found that the researches are from the characters of bullying and the bullies to the school-preventions. There are few researches about victim say nothing of about female victim. However, the bullying in girls is there and it is different from that in boys. The preventions in use seem can do nothing to the girls.This research aim at finding out some characters of the victimization in girls and some related factors by using questionnaire in 416 students who are from 2 middle schools in Beijing. The variables in this research are victimization, parenting style coping manner,depression, loneliness, self-esteem , being gregarious and anxiety.By analyzing the data got from questionnaire, the researcher find female adolescents are mainly victimized by female peer relationally, for example exclusion. The parents of these victims treated their girls negatively and they often deny and refuse the girls in daily life. These victimized girls are more depressive, lonely and anxious than normal ones and they can't get along well with others. These girls also have lower self-esteem and they deal with difficulties or something unpleasant negatively. The chief predictive factor for girls' victimization is being gregarious or not.The results tell us teachers and researchers should take the peculiarity of the victimization in girls into account. The secrecy of the indirect victimization and the characters of the victims make the preventions of bullying in girls are very difficult. At the same time, we also pay more attention to the parenting that make much effect on female adolescents' behaviors. Middle schools should build related preventions to reduce bullying and help victim. There is few school have related preventions in China though some foreign middle school have taken some preventions into act.
