Network Ideological And Political Education Research

When the history of mankind has stepped into the information era, the impact of internet has almost penetrated into every aspect of social life and every research field. It has great influence on the ideological and political education as well. By analyzing the current situation of the ideological and political education in China's colleges and universities, this paper will point out the co-existence of challenges and oppotunities under such circumstances. Finally, some constructive strategies are presented to deal with the present situation. This paper consists of four parts.Part one briefly introduces the characteristics and developing tendency of internet. Eight basic characteristics will be presented. And, according to the current incredible developing speed, the author will reasonably analyzed the promising prospect of internet.Part two focuses on the good oppotunities the internet brings to the ideological and political education of China's colleges and universities. By studying the positive influence of internet on college students and the oppotunities for the development the ideological and political education the advantages of internet is convincingly demonstrated.Part three covers the challenges confronted by the ideological and political education in China's colleges and universities. The author will analyze the negative influence of internet from the following aspects:challenge to the role of teachers, negative effects on college students, the penetration of. west ideology, the current teaching methodology and methods, the environment of network education, etc..Part four provides some corresponding solutions to the internet-involved the ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The author suggests some measures after analyzing the following aspects: public attitudes towards internet, the need to strengthen the construction of websites, the demand for further training our teaching faculty, the necessity of website supervision, the urgency of enhancing the internet literacy of college students, etc..
