Internet Ideological And Political Work Of College Students And Countermeasures Analysis

With the development of the technology, the Internet has infiltrated into the economy, politics and culture of the society and it is changing people's working and lifestyle. The institutions of higher education are the cradle of qualified personnel, and ideological and political education plays a guiding role in higher education. In the era of the Internet, the ideological and political education is now facing both challenges and opportunities. This thesis analyzes the challenges and opportunities that ideological and political education faces in the era of the Internet and points out the principles and methods to reinforce and improve the ideological and political education in institutions of higher education in allusion to various impacts that the Internet brings. The purpose of this thesis is to perfect the managerial theory of the ideological and political education and promote the development of ideological and political education in the era of the Internet. This thesis contains three parts.Part I: Part I gives the definition of the Internet and a thorough introduction to its development both at home and abroad. It further analyzes the present situation, the trend and the impacts of the Internet on teachers and students in institutions of higher education.Part II: Part II analyzes that while the Internet brings positive impacts on and opportunities to the ideological and political education in institutions of higher education; it also brings some negative effects, i.e., the challenges. It is further presented the problem of how the institutions of higher education are to face the challenges.Part III: Part III sets forth the countermeasures of the ideological and political education in the era of the Internet in detail. This is the key part of the whole thesis. Firstly, it is pointed out that new concepts shall be introduced into the ideological and political education in institutions of higher education and presents the countermeasures that shall be introduced into the ideological and political education to students in institutions of higher education under new situation. Secondly, it is discussed in depth how to reinforce and improve the ideological and political education in institutions of higher education from the set-up of website, the establishment of norms, the cultivation of personnel, the repletion of contents, the innovation of methods and specific guidance. Lastly, the countermeasures to face the challenges of the ideological and political education in institutions of higher education under new situations are proposed.
