Popularization Of Higher Education During The College Moral Education In China

Facing 21 Century Strengthening Education Action Plan advanced by Ministry of Education and approved by State Council in 1999 clearly stated that China's higher education shall develop rapidly with 15% entrance rate for people of the right age in 2010, which indicates China has entered the stage of popularized higher education recognized by most of the countries in the world.The moral education in universities is facing unprecedented challenge because of the huge gap between higher education popularization stage and elite stage as well as the new situation in the new era. Therefore it's a must to explore in-depth systematic moral education theory for universities at the stage of higher education popularization to exert the effect of moral education.This thesis analyzes the moral education when higher education popularized from 5 aspects:Chapter 1: Overview of higher education popularization. Through the introduction of the basic concept of higher education popularization theory, historical study of higher education popularization development in the world and in China, to in depth analyze of the characteristics of the higher education popularization stage in China. This is to build the theoretical precondition and exercise platform for the discussion of moral education during the period of higher education popularization in China.Chapter 2 & 3: New situations and problems to be faced during the period of higher education popularization in China. To analyze the challenges in the university moral education from the point of international, domestic, era and the reality of higher education reform. To explore the the current moral status of university students during the period of higher education popularization, and the existing problems in the present moral education. To catch the opportunities and take the challenges in universities moral education in this new period.Chapter 4: To adapt the new situation of higher education popularization and make active efforts to improve and renovate the content of moral education in universities. According to "Outline of Moral Education in China General Higher Education" and the requirement for popularized education, from the harmonious development of human beings to state citizenship education, national education, legal education, psychological health education, sexual morality education are the contents to be supplemented, improved and strengthened in the moral education during the period of higher education popularization in China.Chapter 5: To renovate the concept of moral education, improve the method of moral education and improve the efficiency of moral education. To discuss how to implement the moral education theory of "people oriented" to improve and strengthen the morel education in universities, and increase the efficiency and update the moral education.
