With continuous development of network, multi-media and digital broadcast technology in this information era, many modern education methods and formats appear now. Education field faces unprecedented prosperity. Various theories development, model construction and technical application, present a fast growing situation, like what Chinese sayings that all flowers blooms together hundred school of thought contends. They work together to enlarge the scope of education, to increase education quality, to improve learning efficiency, and to set up life-long education system etc. At the same time, they give the momentum for the whole educational system. It is similar that the emergence of broadcasting network cannot replace the traditional medium completely such as newspaper. All theories, models and application about teaching medium have their own strength in particular area. Meanwhile, it is almost impossible for any theories and models to replace others completely. That's to say , a concept so-called "whole medium" can apply to all realms of education and teaching. Because of such characteristics, modern education technology presents more abundant researches. Our modern education technology workers are diligently trying to invent reasonable model and means of education and teaching, so as to solve more problems that spread in different education fields, and to empower further educational development. This thesis aims at analyzing modern education technology characteristics, studying the educational application of the virtual studio as a new media form. In addition, the thesis tries to explore the reasons why some modern educational medium cannot be widely adopted. It looks for a better adoption of modern education technology. Though the virtual studio asa new kind of medium form has its disadvantage, it can still enlighten advanced education technology worker in the teaching application of new media. It could act as a sign at the junction of the road to new education era with information and new medium.
