Five-stage Discourse-teaching method is based on Schema Theory and Social Constructivism Approach Theory. On the base of predecessors' research and according to my teaching experience, I make the classification, conclusion and combination.There are five stages in the discourse-teaching method: Arousing Schema Stage, Comprehension Stage, Language Points Stage, Evaluation Stage, and Appreciation Stage. In the teaching course, we should follow the rules: the interests rule, the teacher-leading and student-principle rule, the teaching rule in accordance with the aptitude, and the creative rule.I adopt the experimental method and investigation method. The students are from two classes of No. 6 Middle School in ShiJiaZhuang. The conclusion is that the method improves the students' reading comprehension and arouses the students' interests of learning English. |
