At present, though the contemporary art has been diversified, the fundamental art education still neglects the teaching of "modern art" to some different degrees. There exists reason in many aspects. The characteristics of"modern art"bring about the expansion of the fundamental art education and a new practice course approach and offer a platform to the connection of daily life and art in senior high school and make higher requirements for students'quality educations."Modern art" is one of the most difficult chapters in the art course during the senior high school education, for the reason that it differs from the traditional art in cultural values with the features of varying schools and various diversions. As well known,the traditional art teaching is committed to the traditional knowledge and skills, which relatively weakens the students'cognition of creating intension of the works of art. Thus, students just remain the aesthetic level, judging whether"like"or not, which not only hinders their creativity but also deviates from the features of the visual art education so as to impede the succession and development of the traditional art. The middle school students ought to learn to experience the developing and changing of mankind culture by means of the art education rather than receive the professional training. The diversified visual art is influencing people's life both intensively and extensively.
