The British Labour Governments have been determined to build a inclusive and prosperous society since 1990s. The objectives of education is all people can get success and make prepare for lifelong learning. Assessment should improve student's learning and foster student as self-governed learner, so assessment for learning have been advocated in basic education in England.As a part of effective teaching and learning, assessment for learning is a kind of internal assessment with both teacher and their students as the assessors. The methods of assessment for learning mainly include : improving the mode of questioning in the classroom ; teachers make effective feedback from marking students' work; peer and self -assessment .Assessment for learning helps improve teachers' teaching style as well as students' learning level.
