With the development and deepening of economical reform, our higher education has gradually entered public education from elite education, and education demands show diversity. Then, the competition among domestic universities gradually forms, and private universities have begun to emerge. However, under the impact of factors such as the operation of the law, school level, school scale and social status, etc., private colleges remain the vulnerable groups in higher education, and its survival will be both challenges and opportunities. If we want to gain a foothold in the face of fierce competition, private universities need to nurture and encourage teachers. And to establish an incentive pay system will play an important role in this regard. Therefore, the study of the pay system for teachers in private universities is of great significance, for the mobilization of private college teachers'initiative and innovation, the strengthening of schools'development and competition, and the promotion of the sustainable development of private universities.This paper studies Sichuan TY private university, and through incentive theory and pay theory, analysis the pay system and its existing problems. And drawing the experience from home and abroad schools, it analysis the inside and outside factors which influence the systems'formation. From salary levels, salary structure, distribution systems, part-time teachers'pay policy and social security system, examination system and other areas, this paper proposes a salary system which fits for this school, in order to attract, keep and encourage teachers...
