With the durative development of the new basic curriculum reform in our country, teacher beliefs play a more and more important role in teachers' development. To a great extent, teachers' practice and participation in the curriculum reform depends on teacher beliefs, which is the crucial factor of the success of educational reform. We are also energetically promoting the construction of teacher professionalism, in which teacher beliefs is the core element and play the most important role. Without doubt, these factors facilitate the study of teacher beliefs, but it also produces some new problems: What's the connection between teacher beliefs, teaching action and classroom behavior? What factors influence the formation and conversion of teacher beliefs? How to cultivate and reflect on teacher beliefs? Through the investigation in teacher beliefs study, I find that there are only a few particular studies of teacher beliefs, especially the deep and meticulous natural study of Chinese teacher beliefs in middle school. This thesis investigates the teacher beliefs' cases of three Chinese teachers in three middle schools— a middle school pertain to a Normal University in Beijing (listed S middle school), a Junior middle school of fengtai district in Beijing ( listed T middle school ), and a Complete secondary of fengtai district in Beijing ( listed E middle school ), then the thesis analyzes the connection between teacher beliefs and their teaching action and classroom behaviors, and the factors which affect teacher beliefs' formation and conversion and tries to provide some particular cases for researchers.The thesis consists of three parts:Part one: This part is mainly about the background, the meaning, research methods and the localization of the study and the definitions of teacher beliefs and case study.Part two: This part is mainly about the theoretic hypothesis of the study, the thought, method and the process of the study.Part three: The cases and analysis of the three teachers' beliefs. This part mainly expound the teachers' beliefs and their teaching action and classroom behavior underthe beliefs through record chat before class, record interview in the class and interview after class,, and deeply analyze and reflect on these cases.Part four: Conclusion and advice. According to the above study, this part tries to come up to some research conclusion and put up some proposals.
