Principal - Teachers To Communicate Effectively

We put our emphasis on communication in 1980s, which is a great part of the organization culture. Barnard once said that communication was one of the three essential factors of an organization. The leader communicates with his subordinate every minute, which play a significant role in organization. Principal is also an administrative leader. He influences teachers through the communication.The author recorded the communication between principal and teachers by talking, observation and questionnaire, analyzed the process of communication and proposed some effective strategies.The thesis consists of three parts. It describes recent situation of communication between principal and teachers in Middle School K, which includes basic environment of Middle School K, people' role, the way and content in communication . The second part analyzes the factors that affect the communication between principal and teachers, including communication situation and intention, communication behavior, communication result and barrier. In part three, the author proposes some strategies to promote effective communication: understanding authority correctly and setting up leader's authority, giving equal rights to teachers so as to make co-communication, establishing support communication atmosphere, strengthening the persons' ability and qualities.
