Teachers are the crucial factor for the success of the new curriculum reform, so teacher's professional development becomes an important topic.There are many ways that can improve teacher's professional development, and expert coaching in Professional Development School is one of them. In Professional Development School, experts get deeply involved, so it can pave the gap between the educational theories and the educational practice in the primary schools and middle schools, and provide professional help for teacher's professional development. But currently, there are not many Professional Development School in China, and the related research is not concrete, but theoretical.The author takes a Professional Development School established by a normal university and a primary school as an example, and works on the deep-involved expert coaching as a participant and an observer. In the course of research, I use qualitative evaluation, like complete observation, recording, dialogue analysis to see the ways of expert coaching; through collecting, cleaning up and analyzing the works designed by teachers, I find the process of teacher's professional development, through communication with teachers, I find the positive influence that expert coaching on teacher's professional development.The practice shows that the professional coaching in which experts get deeply involved meets the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the needs of the teacher's professional development, so it is meaningful and valuable to research the practice and theories of the expert coaching.In this thesis, I first introduce the research origin, the background, the research significance, the research method and the writing plan. Secondly, I summarize the theories of teacher's professional development; thirdly, I mainly introduce the process of the practice research, and reveal the change that deep-involved expert coaching brings to teachers; lastly, I advocate that experts and teachers should work together to bring the deep-involved expert coaching into effect.
