With the professional development of teacher in the western theories influx into China, the critical view, continuation and development of these theories based on the local community have become an inevitable trend. The selection of a provincial expert teacher as a research object, using the case- study method and a large number of interviews makes it clear to present a local expert teacher's professional path , tying to find out the real factors which promotes or constrains his direction and rate of the development.This study selected a geography expert-teacher in Shanghai as a study, using case studies of the way through the large number of interviews and data collection, to show the teacher professional growth story and a clear geographic premium teacher professional development path. And to a certain extent, the study concluded their own professional development and lay the foundation for the preparation of his autobiography. In this paper, the special-grade teacher development as a whole, the result of system, rather than the absolute practice - tend to reflection.This study finds out: The professional development of teachers basically follows in this direction from novice to skilled experts. However, the length of each period varies with the environment that each individual involved in, of which, the school level and one's special position in the collective play very important roles in accelerating or delaying teacher's way of "fame". There are no absolute effects on teaching from pre-teaching factors such as personality characteristics. These factors may have a positive development, so as to promote one's teaching practice. A clear and correct teaching belief—here refers primarily to subject conception and student conception—influences the choice of teaching methods and the effect of teaching sums.
