The essence of Learning is a practice process in which people obtain knowledge consciously and continuously through a variety of ways and methods to reform, develop, improve and perfect themselves. The inherent relation between learning and life is explained by the essence of Learning from the Perspective of Ontology. Learning which a life practical activity of human is a kind of basic need, which is really incarnated in the Knowledge Economic Times. Learning, as a "centre" activity, will impenetrate people's life Spheres. People will live on learning and learn from life in that time . In some ways, people's learning will be as a lifestyle and life will be as a kind of learning. Lifestyle will be unfolded as a independence concept, which means learning will become people's inherent need and learning lifestyle will be a representative activity approach which human need in life. learning becomes a lifestyle, which requires people can independently learn themselves, exert human's subjectivity, consciously connect "make a living"to "enjoying life". The Knowledge Economic Times is coming because of Chinese Transitional Society, which demands primary and secondary school students become the master of learning, exert their subjectivity and are prepared for future life from now on. Therefore, this paper studies the learning lifestyle of primary and secondary school students in the Transitional Society.The paper reveals the learning lifestyle character of primary and secondary school students by surveying that there are both independence and dependence and the dependence character is still obvious, then analyzes the main reasons of this phenomenon and gives some countermeasures from teachers' educational beliefs, teaching method, teaching level, educational evaluation system, family education concepts and social culture. At last, the writer offers some theoretical frame about building the learning lifestyle.
