Oral quizzing is important communication in class. Since student participates in teaching-learning process as a main part, quizzing plays a critical role on whether whole process is interactive, harmonious, effective and complete in class. It is not only methodology, but also concerned about educational conception. It should meet requirements of both students themselves and practice improvement in class to develop student's thinking by optimizing quizzing. This thesis summarizes existing situation of chemistry teaching in high school with practical experience, studies tactics optimization of quizzing in chemistry class based on both quizzing concept definition and research of educational theory. Firstly, teacher should set up "self-learning" situation with modern ideas of education to activate enough initiative and creativity of both teacher and student in teaching class. Secondly, teacher should control opportunity, design content and pay attention to tactics of questioning for quizzing optimization. Thirdly, teacher should develop student's thinking by means of optimizing tactics of questioning-answering. Last, student should be encouraged to have sense of questioning others with relevant methodology.I practiced some tactics of quizzing optimization in chemistry class of senior high school with related teaching contents and evaluations. The results show up the necessity of executing these tactics and are also references for other teachers in chemistry teaching of high school.
