From pedagogical psychology, we know for students, doubt is the beginning of thinking. It is also said learning is from thinking and thinking is from doubting. So it is quite important to put questions. In the teaching process, an experienced teacher always questions students carefully so as to inspire their passion for study. At the same time, he will provide the ladder for students to find the problems and solve them. But in most of teaching process, the questions from the teachers aren't able to help the teachers reach the teaching aims. Some teachers even regard questions as a simple teaching method. They never try to design questions deliberately according to a series of principles and skills. Therefore, optimized strategy research is still an important project. The article discussed the problem about questioning in class according to the analyses of teaching process with the help of some interrelated research and our teaching and research group. In order to have a deep research for this project, I recorded several math classes, including some classes which have the same content but performed by different teachers as well as my two different performances of the same content. I also combined my experience of many open classes in this research. The article includes five parts. The first part gives the main idea. I mainly elaborate the background, content, aim and the meaning of the research project. The second part summarizes the interrelated research and the types of questioning. The third part is mainly about the research of questioning in math class of middle school. Analyze some problems in class questioning and point the facts that affect the optimization of class questioning. The fourth part is about the optimized strategy. The last part is the summarization of the research and some teaching suggestions. I hope my research can give inspiration for some math teachers and help them considerate more about the questioning skills to improve the teaching aim and teaching process.
