Nowadays many kinds of modern education theories develop quickly. Under the background, the theory of contextual teaching-and-learning has been widely noticed because it is organized systematically, its teaching mode is abundant and it guides effectively to the devising of modern teaching and learning. Finding its foundation on the animadversion upon the traditional school, starting from the deep thinkings of the theory-studying itself, the theory not only satisfies the school' s practical needs, but also develops and riches itself. So the theory shows its profound theory bases, its inside meanings of practical researches, and widely developing prospects.We adopted many methods (includes questionnaire survey, the documents research and the combination of theory and practice) to analyze, summarize, carry out the formers' research productions rationally. Aiming at many questions occurred in present basic physics teaching-and-learning phase, combinating the characteristics of our times and the requests of diathesis education, we carried out a series of researches and practices under the theory of the contextual teaching-and-learning. (According to the standpoints of constructism' s contextual knowledge-studying and knowledge-gaining) We primarily explored the methods and significance of the theory systematically in physics teaching experiments. By discussing how to develop effectively the functions of the theory in physics education, how to actualize the diathesis education by adopting the theory, we devised the contextual cases of physics experiments. By it, we also analyzed the relationships among the theory, the students' knowledge structures and their traits. At the same time, we carried out the research&study of the contextual teaching-and-learning from many aspects, such as its operation principles, teaching designs, fundamental models.According to the characteristics of the subject of physics, the development of modern education technologies and optimization of modern education theories, we have general opinions which believe that the theory of contextual teaching-and-learning in physics education may be actualized in the following three ways: (1) The carrying out of contextual teaching-and-learning is based on the physics experiments. (2) Based on multimedia Internet (3) based on questions-solving. In the text, we believe that the theory of the contextual teaching-and-learning based on the physics experiments is a broad sense of "contextual circumstances" , which includes physics experiments, multimedia internet, questions-proposing and much life experiences.The practices shows: the method of teaching-and-learning has improved some questions existed in modern middle school' s physics-teaching phase;it has avoided the case of learning deviating from reality; it let the students study more meaningly. Basing itself upon the unification of the intangible "feeling" and tangible "circumstance" , we have increased the students learning interests, improved their studying effects, accelerated their all-aspects' developments in the scene of the students' applying their gained physics knowledge. So, we can optimize the processes of teaching-and-learing by using the theory of seeking for the best teaching-and-learning contextual surroundings. At last, we givesome our thinkings and suggestions to this theory.
