In the late 20th century, "Apple problem" replaces "Spencer problem" gradually, and becomes the primitive problem of curriculum study, namely, curriculum study isn't to answer "what knowledge is the most valuable?", but to dispute "whose knowledge is the most valuable?". Curriculum study turns to sociology. In the study horizon of sociology of curriculum, student evaluation isn't merely an educational activity that evaluates the process and results of students' learning, furthermore, it's a social product that symbolizes otherness significance for the students from different stratum. Correlational demonstration studies indicate that student evaluation is favorable for the students from advantaged social groups, relatively, in order to acquire good evaluation results, students from disadvantaged social groups encounter more cultural block. After student evaluation, students from different stratum acquire different accomplishments, it foretells that they will step into different stratum and continues existent stratum structure to a large extent. In the sequence of values reflected in the standards of student evaluation, values from advantaged social groups enjoy default legal status, become the criterion to scale other values. The contents of student evaluation reflect cultural benefit of advantaged social groups further. It's difficult for the living experience of disadvantaged social groups to get upper value judgment. The use of tools of student evaluation adapts to students' language rules and behavior mode from advantaged social groups. For the students from disadvantaged social groups, the tools of student evaluation themselves make obstacles in method. The subjects of student evaluation fasten on advantaged social groups whose cultural demands receive preferential satisfaction, but disadvantaged social groups lack corresponding mouthpiece. The results of student evaluation validate the stratum attribute of student evaluation as a social product. After the panorama analysis of elements of student evaluation, the analysis of representative activities proves the stratum attribute of student evaluation effectively.
