The Influence Of Emotion And Interest On Mass Disturbance And The Difference Of Social Stratum

China is in a transitional period of social conflicts intensified and mass disturbance outbreak frequently. The research of why a person participates mass disturbance has two basic ways :emotion and interst. Some scholars have pointed out: Chinese mass disturbance gradually highlights the sign of indirect interest conflict, starting from the direct interest conflict turned to indirect interest conflict. The purpose of this paper is to respond to this question: From the total data, emotion and interst is how to affect individuals participating in mass disturbance, and whether there is a difference of social stratum in this effect.Based on the survey data of CGSS2010, this paper mainly uses binary Logistic regression model, including two aspects: The first is to analyze the influence of emotion and interest on the mass disturbance.; the second is to add social stratum variable, Studying the moderating effect of social stratum in that emotion and interst affects mass disturbance. The results showed that: Firstly, the sense of social justice and subjective well-being is higher, the possibility to participate in mass disturbance is smaller, but this effect is no longer significant when the variable of interest is added; Secondly, When the event is related to their own interest, the probability of individuals involved in the event is much higher than the group without interest.Thirdly,the social middle is very sensitive to subjective well-being, and social underclass for social fairness is the most sensitive, promoting subjective well-being of social middle, and social fairness of social underclass can significantly reduce the probability of its participation in mass disturbance; Fourthly, the variable of interest is the strongest influence on social underclass, not only reflected in the society when the event can protect their interests, the lower more actively involved in, but also in knowing events will hurt their own interests, social underclass is unusually active participation in.This paper concluded that: Firstly, from total amount, the interest is still the most important factor influencing individuals to participate in the mass disturbance, rights struggle caused by interst conflicts is fundamental qualitative of mass disturbance happened in our country, therefore, the key to maintaining stability is safeguard civil rights.Secindly,social underclass is most sensitive to social injustice and the damage of interests, and social underclass have a tendency to irrational activist when they are unable to express their interest demands.In addition, This paper further discusses the social risk of the transformation from interests appeal to the value in the underlying demand.
