Teaching is, in essence, a form of practice, from which perspective we must reexamine our daily classroom teaching. The improvement of classroom teaching is classroom-oriented; it includes the perfection of teaching philosophy, teaching procedures, and teaching behavior as a whole, and the manipulation of the whole process. Based on the analysis of the current situation of politics teaching in senior high school, this thesis explores what should be improved and how to improve it. It suggests the overall improvement of the five aspects of preparation, teaching, assignment, tutoring and assessment and a "concept - design - practice - reflection - improvement" teaching formula in compliance with politics teaching methodology, in an attempt to transfer the teaching from the text book to the curriculum, to transfer the focus from the form to the effectiveness of teaching activities and to transfer observation from the textbook to the students. It provides materials, strategies and assessment for reference that have been practiced in politics teaching, to further improve its effectiveness and to enlighten the politics lesson.
