Classroom teaching is the most fundamental way and method on cultivating. Withthe deepening of the reform of basic education curriculum, it is an obligatory and urgentand difficult task for the general English educators to explore English teachingstrategies which is in accordance with the new curriculum standard of the middleschools. In this paper, the author takes the current English teaching situation of urbansenior high schools and analyzes some existing problems and the potential factors, byexploring the effective class teaching strategies to promote the new curriculum reformimplement smoothly and to meet the need of the development for both teachers andstudents.According to the new curriculum standard in senior middle school, the authoranalyzes and summarizes the theoretical foundation and relevant research results both athome and abroad through literature methodology firstly. Then the author collects andsorts the data based on the actual classroom teaching status in senior middle schoolthrough observation and investigation and analyzes the existing problems and potentialfactors. Ultimately, by using the relevant effective teaching theory and teachingexperience of the educational experts and frontline teachers from both domestic andoverseas for reference, the author proposes the feasible countermeasures specifically.The innovation point is that the author analyzes the learners’ affect and attitude andteachers’ quality on teaching effect mainly based on the idea of double principle part,and puts forward some feasible strategies to improve the classroom teachingsystematically. This paper promotes other discipline teaching research in basiceducational stage positively and brings significant reference value as well.
