Library Management System Design And Development

With the progress of the global wave of information technology , the pursuit of human to knowledge is stronger than before, so the book is more and more important。In order to let library be able to provide efficient services to readers make a rational allocation of resources,this paper provides a library management system which based on the need of the realty.This paper systematically analyzes the development background and history of library management system and the research situation at home and abroad. This paper also summarizes the key technologies which are used in this system. In the process of the system development, we use the idea of software engineering to achieve. Firstly, research the development and analysis the current demand of library management system; Secondly, make a outline design and a detailed design; Finally, implement and test the system.The library management system mainly consists of the background and the front. The background is responsible for establishing and maintaining the database,which can make sure the data consistency, integrity and security; The front is responsible for human-computer interaction, can provide a good user experience. We use MySQL for database management and maintenance, use ASP.Net to develop the front. In addition the library management system using B / S architecture and MVC patterns to design and develop.Through testing, the library system is stable, has an user-friendly interface and can be maintained easily. This system can also satisfy the practical needs of the library management,which can use it to improve the efficiency and quality of its service.
