With the developmental requirements of characteristics of Chinese-style cigarettes and fine processed technology, the automation and information technology of box-type storage smoke logistics system is becoming an important means for the increase the tobacco industry production management standardization and the level of refinement.However, the tobacco material was result in materiel jam and vacancy etc., for it had fluidity and conglutination physical properties. This matter not only affected the control, computation of flux and encasement, but also became technology problem to the course of characteristics of Chinese-style cigarettes standardization and fine. So for most domestic tobacco companies, there were lots of exaltation room in the production, transportation and quantificational encasement of material. Moreover, the competition in domestic tobacco industry was fiercer, as foreign large-scale tobacco enterprises joined. How to tap the potential of cigarette production, to improve production management level and to reduce production costs had become the primary task of survival and development.In this paper, according to the technological transformation project of logistics production line in Kunming cigarette of HongyunHonghe Group, we developed a set of the box-type storage tobacco logistics control system. This system collocated quantitative packing technology as the core and used floating-based electronic belt weigher with PLC. Control system was a distributed architecture, and communicated to the center control system through the bus. Siemens'S7-300 PLC was used to be the core controller and man-machine interface was Siemens'touch screen. Software was Siemens Company's SIMATIC WinCC flexible configuration and STEP 7 PLC programming software. Stakeout interface included equipment state instructions, parameter setting and alarm information. At the same time, PLC program was primarily designed for system material flow measurement and control, the communication between master and slave control system. While weighted filtering Algorithm and Ant Colony Algorithm were used with PID control system in sampling signal processing, material flow control and other aspects. Moreover the fault-tolerant redundant technology was used to enhance architecture design of system. On the basis of accuracy to measurement and packing, it improved reliability and stability of control system.Some functions of the logistics control system of the box-type storage smoke had been successfully applied in Factory. As the test showed, the system had upper measurement accuracy and stability.
