With the characteristics of Chinese cigarettes processing technology development requirements.the Automation and Information of tobacco system are became important means to improve the tobacco mixing products with standardized, accurate and visualization.Because of the special physical properties of tobacco, the ratio must be processing on the production Line,so it makes the measurement and control of the tobacco flow become particularly important.In this paper, with the practical needs of industrial production site,and making the tobacco processing workshop of Kunming cigarette of HongyunHonghe Group as background,developing a floating electronic belt weigher based on PLC. To achieved measurement and control of tobacco mixing control system with distributed architecture, communicating to interconnection with the bus line.Using the Siemens S7-300 PLC as the Core Controller,and using Siemens souch screen as the Monitoring Interface.The software system are made by STEP 7 PLC programming software and SIMATIC WinCC flexible configuration software. System are divided into a master station and five sub-station,the system communication based on PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus.The monitoring system are including equipment operation status indication, parameter settings and alarm monitoring and so on.The measurement and control of tobacco,and the control between sub-stations are controlled by the lower computer PLC.To enhance the measurement accuracy of tobacco mixing system,processing sampled signals with filtering algorithm,meanwhile,there is a PID controller based on neural network in this system,to achieved closed-loop flow control and PID parameter tuning.After simulated,the tobacco mixing control system with high precision measurement.high stability and control accuracy presented on this paper. Some function has been debugged in the workshop.
