| With the rapid development of the technology of internet, the network has penetrated into every facets of people's life. People could communicate with the outside world conveniently and efficiently through the network. Therefore, college and university libraries'Book-CD Management System will be the trend in the development of the network technology. Compared with the traditional system, the previously mentioned system possesses the benefits as reducing the repetitive work of the librarian, better protecting the CD data and so on. More importantly, with the actualization of the college and university libraries'Book-CD Management System, it could meet the needs of both teaching and researching, and could also advance the libraries'technical level in automation, informatization and networking, which is of great significance in constructing the digitalized libraries in college and university.At present, some colleges and universities in china still don't have their own Book-CD Management System. And even if there has such kind of system, its quality and operational proficiency is uneven, let alone the lacking of unified standards. These deficiencies have yielded enormous hindrance for the utilization of the Book-CD and the resources-sharing between colleges and universities. Referring to the relevant modes of college and university library management software, and grounded on the relative working experience, the author of this paper has designed a library Book-CD Management System of common applicability and stable operation through adopting the ASP.NET technology. The realization of the system will overcome the difficulty of resources-sharing and improve the utilization of the CD efficiently.The system has adopted the technical scheme of ASP.NET+SQL SERVER 2005 with the C# development language, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 development tool and Microsoft SQL SERVER 2005 background database. This is a web application based on three-tiered B/S systematic structure. And the design concept of the system is that the students are available to download the book-CD data at any time and any place. In this paper, the status quo of the college and university libraries'Book-CD Management System is to be illustrated; relative technical program in realizing the system is also being put forward. And the author has given introduction about the relevant technology of ASP.NET which is to be applied in carrying out the program. Then, according to the system's demanding characteristics, the author will unfold detailed analysis on the interface requirements, performance requirements and functional requirements. Relative functional and structural chart is to be designed. While based on the demanding characteristics of the database, the entity relationship chart is to be devised and converted into entity information table to lay the foundation for the creation of database and the date security and efficient storage of the system. At last, the paper will deal with the specific implementation of each module. The author will give illustrated description to each module from the standpoints of page design, frontage code and background code. Particularly, as to the systematic core functional module, such as the part of uploading and downloading, the author will give detailed explanation and put out the key codes for the realization of the system.In all, the college and university libraries'Book-CD Management System accomplished possess the qualities such as modules with great undependability, strong extensive ability, and stable security and so on. During the test run, it has shown its great performance in clear and friendly interface, easy operation, simple maintenance, strong stability and other facets. Therefore, as a module with general applicability serving for college and university libraries'Book-CD Management, this system is surely of strong practical value and broad applicable prospects. |
