Design And Implementation Of The Platform Of The China Petroleum And Public Data Encoding

With the development of information technology and the continuous innovation of information concept, enterprise management and production operations have changed greatly. To meet the global economic environment and competitive environment, the requirement of information system is increasing. Making the master data to be widely used in various information systems and completing data integration in the early information systems is becoming an important branch of the enterprise information technology development.This paper is based on the project of the PetroChina MDM (Master Data Management) system which the author is participating in, made the sharing master data in various information systems as the goal and the master data management in critical information system-ERP of PetroChina as the entry point. analyzed the existing and under construction information systems of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", defined MDM(master data management) as the integration system to solve the problem of master data sharing, used object-oriented method to do systems analysis and design, did MDM requirements modeling using Rational Rose-the Unified Modeling Language UML-based tools. Through design and implement of MDM platform, achieved unified master data of ERP system.PetroChina MDM platform is one of the systems in China, which firstly manage master data by the unified coding system and through the approval flow.The construction of MDM platform established the foundation of unified coding master data in various of information systems of PetroChina, achieve the goal of unified data standard,unified data publication and unified data management in process of the information system integration, accumulated some experience for the information system integration of PetroChina in vertical and horizontal directions. It also makes a good reference for other large-sized enterprises in the area of the master data management, gives positive significance to enhance the production and management efficiency of enterprises, and to improve the competitiveness of Enterprises.
