This article is mainly to explore the Canadian Global Chinese Press; the case of how overseas Chinese media survive with the continuous development of China’s Internet media and news sources. Throughout this paper, the discussion of the changes of structure in Chinese immigrants, as well as the competition that exists between China’s Internet media and the Canadian Chinese media will be examined. It will be based on the case study of a Chinese-language news source in Canada called the "Global Chinese Press". This is to understand the development of China’s Internet media and how it has impacted traditional Chinese media in foreign countries; this is also key in exploring the future of this Internet development. This study will also look into how "Global Chinese Press" has responded to such changes in target market and the Internet.
