Although the rapid progress of computer network technology have greatly improved the quality of people’s work and play, but many kinds of illegal behavior on the Internet pose a great threat to the security of network data transmission. Video encryption date transmission system can make it more satety for the data transmission in the network.Video encryption transmission system included two parts.It is hardware and software. The part of hardware is about the designing of video encryption network interface card. The hardware of the encryption card is mainly composed of a FPGA chip and a DM9000 AEP ethernet MAC control chip. The FPGA chip is the core in the designing of hardware. The part of software included the Windows kernel-mode NIC device driver and application in the user layer.The main research contents of this thesis is the miniport network device driver for the video encryption network interface card. By developing all the routines of miniport driver for the NIC, Not only the encrypted network adapter can realized the peer-to-peer video date encryption transmission,but also it can access the Ethernet normally.
