Research And Analysis On Expressway Passing Card Management System

With the rapid development of society and economy, the number of vehicles in our country increases quickly. Expressway is built as an important solution to the traffic between cities. The expressway toll card is the critical receipt for expressway toll management. As there are many people involved during management process, the work flow of toll card is comparatively complicated. A large number of expressway toll cards might be missing easily without related strict management, which would bring serious loss to the expressway owner and the relative competent departments. How to manage the huge number of toll cards effectively and intensively is an important matter to be solved. Under such circumstances, the study in my thesis focuses on expressway toll card management system.This thesis firstly introduces the research background and significance of expressway toll card management system, further analyzes the current study status of toll card both domestic and abroad, and finally presents the content and direction of research. Then in the operation analysis, it conducts a system analysis on prevailing toll card management process, finds the deficiencies, and optimizes the management process by activity diagram in UML. The thesis analyzes the system user’s role of basic demand, describes the functional demand by means of illustration, and introduces the system overall package diagram and sub-package diagram of every module on basis of it. Besides, it introduces the system non-functional demands from the aspects of compatibility, security, and advantage. In the system data analysis, the thesis analyzes the related data the system has to process, creates the entity class diagram, and establishes the structure of data base. At the end, the thesis carries on the study and summary analysis on expressway toll card system, and comes up with the prospects for further researches.The expressway toll card management system in this thesis has characteristics of system management, toll card entry management, toll card allocating management, toll card collecting management, card failure management, and statements management etc. The application of the system could realize the accuracy of toll card offering, tracing, and analyzing so as to improve the management efficiency of expressway toll card management and decrease the loss caused by the toll card missing.
