With the development of economy and society, the human activities on the Earth had a huge impact on environment, energy shortages, environmental pollution and climate deterioration have caught people’s attention and plagued the global. The grid is an important part of the country’s energy industry chain and is an important part of the national integrated transport system, its development has a direct or indirect impact on the above issues. Therefore, the country all over the world have a higher requirement on the grid construction, Against this background arises smart grid. Smart grid is that it is based on an integrated, high-speed two-way communication networks, through advanced sensing and measurement technology, advanced equipment and technology, advanced control methods and advanced decision support systems technology applications, to achieve grid reliable, safe, economical, efficient, environmentally friendly and safe to use goals.This paper mainly research the dynamic power control of sensor nodes and multi-path in detection of the smart grid. Combined with the characteristics of self-organizing of wireless sensor networks in data trans mission in the grid, the sensor node dynamically controlling transmission power, to reduce energy consumption. We choose multi-path transmission in route selection, this enhanced adaptive and fault-tolerant of the grid and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.First this paper describes the key technologies of wireless sensor networks and applications in the smart grid,the smart grid mainly through the wireless sensor nodes together the environmental parameters and complete the data transmission, through the introduction of wireless sensor networks so that people have a clear understanding.For the power control technology of wireless sensor nodes. This paper shows the wireless node power control mode land propose a dynamic power control strategy for wireless sensor networks-DPCS (Dynamic Power Control Strategy),the policy is distributed, it uses partial network information, by adjusting the path loss exponent and power control parameters can get excellent performance target topology, for this kind of application scenarios as smart grid demand highly real-time and fault tolerance will have good adaptability More importantly, the algorithm allows nodes to dynamically adjust the power control parameters in the network during operation to maintain the network connectivity, thereby extending thenetwork lifetime.For the multi-path routing technology, this paper shows an improved weighted multi-path routing algorithm W_AOMDV, the algorithm improved RREQ and RREP, according to an independent node routing mechanism, combined with the establishment of the destination node of the plurality of power control technology in dependent routing node. For each path weighted by the network performance function to select the main path and an alternate path, set the simulation parameters for simulation, network throughput, packet loss rate, routing overhead and average delay for analysis and comparison with other algorithms.
