Multi-user's Computer Remote Monitoring System

The Computer's Remote Monitoring System (CRMONS) is a standard monitoring specification that enables various network monitors and console systems to exchange network-monitoring data. The CRMONS has been graclud I I v used widely in the area of Security Monitoring-Control and manufacturc process Monitoring-Control. Now more and more users have interested in the CRMONS. The flourishing developments of the computer multimedia and communication technologies as well as the speediness enhancement of the microprocessor's capability provide the technoIogic~tI foundations for the CRMONS. This thesis mainly discusses the hasic theories of the video compression and transmission associated with the multi-user CRMONS. It explains the hardware structure and the designing scenario of software function modules of this system with detail. It introduces the key programming technologies and presents a kind of complete designing and implementation scenario from hardware to software. As an extension, this system has the function of multi? user monitoring and control simultaneously except the originally functions of the CRMONS. The system supports two kinds of communication modes based on widely used TCP/IP and the common serial communication, so it enhances flexibility of the system. This system also extends a function that can set the response parameters at?the video transmission from the user's options, thereby speeds up the efficiency of the video transmission. In order to enhance the performance efficiency this system introduces the dualuffer technology and the multithreading technology. This system enhances the independence, autonomy, reusability and easy maintainability of the program codes with the OOP.
