Mpeg-2 Video Playback And Editing To Achieve

This dissertation introduces the survey of standards for video compression and main parts of MPEG-2 standards: the System, the Video etc, expatiates the principles and arithmetic of video compression: discrete cosine transform (DCI), quantization encoding, variable length encoding, Then the syntax of video stream and the syntax of system stream, and the process of decoding: variable length decoding, inverse quantization, inverse discrete cosine transform (IDCT), and motion compensation.It is so widespread use for MPEG-2 standard that makes it difficult to cut video material. So,I?11 resolve this problem.It includes two parts for The MPEG-2 system stream: the program stream and the transport stream. Because the two stream can transform from each to another, we only discuss the program stream. This dissertation elaborates the editing for single file and for multi_file of MPEG-2, and the problem must be pay attention to: the synchronization for video and audio, then elaborates the realization of decoding and displaying for video stream.
