| Desktop videoconferencing system is the production of computer technology and communication technology. With development of Internet/Intranet technology, it is broad applying as a importance depart of multimedia communication technology. According to the scarcity of existing videoconferencing system ,This paper discusses the design of desktop videoconferencing system based on sockets technology.Based on abroad support of sockets technology to multicast , The article bring forward a way that combine sockets 's IP multicast technology and layered video flow technology. It from a high capability project of desktop videoconferencing system based on Internet.This paper define system's function and design the network structure of desktop videoconferencing system. Soft MCU multicast realizing mode has been discussed , Soft MCU structure has been design , and every module function has been defined. It analyses terminal system structure and designs it's soft structure. It designs soft module composing, precontract flow and intiative calling meeting flow of meeting manager centre.IP multicast based on sockets technology has been deeply investigated. Socket's element has been analysed, and IP multicast program has been realized. Layered video flow of multicast has been deeply investigated too, It analyses layered video project of coding and designs adaptive algorithm base on funds. |
