Research, Technologies And Applications Based On Of Wavecom Wireless Access Gps Information

SThe Wireless Access Technology (WA) is the indispensable and important means of developing access network of our country. Given a new telephone cost equation, improved the flexibility of network and simpled the work of installation and maintenance are the specialist of WA. WA consists of Mobile Wireless Access (MWA) and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and MWA includes Cellular Mobile Technology, Trunk Technology, Digital Cordless Technology, and Multi-microwave Technology etc. In this paper, the cellular mobile technology of MWA is discussed, and analyzed the second-generation digital cellular mobile communication system-Global System for Mobile communications. European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) publishes the standard of GSM at 1988; GSM digital cellular communication system is the main part of Public Land Mobile communication Network (PLMN) in China. It provides many kinds of services and interfaces to other communication system.In this paper, various services provided by GSM are analyzed. A communication scheme of VMS based on GSM short message service is proposed. Single chip micro-controller is successfully applied to receive, deal with, display and transfer GPS position information on the basis of analyzed GPS receiver and GSM Module. The system can transfer GPS position information automatically to monitor center. It can satisfy the demand of large capacity; wide range and real time monitor VMS and improve the quality of communication.This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter One introduces the background of wireless access technology, and put the emphasis on the concept, characteristic and application of mobile wireless technology. Chapter Two focused on the representative of mobile wireless technology-Global system for Mobile communication and the services of GSM-SMS (Short Message Service) are discussed. Chapter Three raised a module about vehicle monitor, and compared some schemes about latest vehicle monitor system. On the basis of analyzed, put forward the VMS based on GSM-SMS. In Chapter Four discussed how to achieve the system from the hardware and software two aspects. Chapter Five discussedthe specialty about this system, and forwarded some improvement on system.
