For Agile Manufacturing Assembly Capp System

With the globalization of manufacture enterprise, assembly CAPP has developed rapidly for integration, intelligence, network and collaboration. The study of the assembly CAPP system for the advanced manufacturing model has been one of the emphases and hotspots at the field of CAPP. This paper just outspreads its research on the function, characteristic and key techniques of assembly under the background of Agile Manufacturing.This paper starts with summarizing the characteristic of assembly CAPP for Agile Manufacturing, and analyzes in detail the demands of function, performance, information of the system. On this basis, the function model is designed, and the structure of the assembly CAPP system based on Internet is set up.Under this premise, the key techniques of AM-CAAPP are systematically researched, including the technique of gathering the product's information, the assembly process knowledge base, the assembly process planning technology, the assembly process estimation technology, interface technology and so on. The problems are reasonably solved, including the establishment of assembly model, the organization and expression of knowledge, the decision-making of assembly sequence, the estimation of assembly process reasonability, the access to database etc.Furthermore, the implementation mode of collaborative process design and the planning of application program on server are researched. The ASP and ADO methods are selected to design the workflow of collaborative process.Finally, prototype system is developed.
