Automatic biochemical analyzer is mainly used in the detection of various biochemical indexes of body fluid. The difference of the indexes brings much scientific information that can help doctors make a judge about the state of patient. Biochemical analyzer has already turned into a necessary instrument in clinical diagnosis presently. This paper primarily introduces the electronics R&D process and brings forward the integral and feasible design project of the system.The paper firstly introduces the framework and principle of automatic biochemical analyzer, especially the design of electronics part. It comprises two sections: the hardware and the software. This system is very complicated in the hardware, which have many inputs and outputs. Furthermore, the requirement of real-time operation is very strict. The control system not only realizes the real-time operation and detects the status of instrument, but also collects data of many analog signals of response cup. According to the characteristics above, the high performance DSP-TMS320C32 along with the MAX7000 series chip-EPM7128 is selected as the center control system, which makes the structure of system simple, and improves its reliability and stability. The data collection includes photoelectric converser, amplifier circuit and data collection. A 16-bit high speed A/D converter-AD976A is selected in this system, which brings high speed and accords with the requirement of system design.The real-time control of system brings up higher requirement for the software. The design of software accepts the idea of multitask in high-class language and fits the need of analyzer. A kind of fast and applied CRC is used in the error control of serial communication.At last, some measures are further put forward to improve the reliability and stability according to the request of system. All of these make favorable effect true. This design has been put into use in practice. It is certain that the performance indexes of this control system have completely accorded with the design requirement of automatic biochemical analyzer through experiment.
