| The paper analyses the meanings of the traffic engineering.For the history background of the IP network it is necessary to carry out traffic engineering in Internet now.I have compared several different schemes of traffic engineering in the paper.The overlap model is not fit for the traffic engineering because of the inherent limitation. We point out that the AIMD algorithm is not fit for transfers of real-time streaming file because the AIMD algorithm can not keep the flow steady. We design a new algorithm-PMIMD.The emphasis of the paper is to discuss the framework of the MPLS network and the support for traffic engineering .I have learned several main topics about the traffic engineering based on MPLS : how to map the data into lable;how to map lable into FEC. For the most important topicrhow to map traffic trunk into the actual topological network by LSP, I have designed a kind of adaptive traffic control mechanism called LATC.The simulation expriments have proved the validity and the effect of LATC. |
